Monark 894E Ergomedic Peak

The result is the Monark Ergomedic 894E Peak Bike. A new bike that still maintains the traditional characteristics of a Monark bike. A brand new frame with a softer design, but with improved performance regarding both stability and rigidity.

The Windows based software, with more setting possibilities and a clear presentation graphic, is easy to use. Thanks to double sensors, faster electronics and improved mechanics we minimize the possibility for problems during the work with anaerobic tests. The Peak Bike also works as a regular weight ergometer.

The new Windows based software increases the setting possibilities for anaerobic tests. The test time can vary in a range of 5 to 300 seconds, with 5 second intervals. This means that the standardized Wingate test still can be performed. The analysis features have been improved in this new software. Both analysis of individual users or groups are possible.

The weight basket is a patented self-regulating braking system which does not need calibration. As long as the basket is in the air and the weights are correct even the brakeforce is correct. The mechanics of the weight basket has been improved which will increase the safety of the releasing moment.

Combined SPD and pedals with clips with threads in standard dimension fits the most common pedal systems. The saddle post has adjustment possibilities in both height and length as well as being able to install most any outdoor bicycle saddle. These features allow for a customizable position setting for the user.

Electronic meter that shows pedal revs per minute, Heart Rate, Time, Speed plus Distance. In addition workload can be set giving a reading of Calories and Watts. Large, well-balanced flywheel 22 kg (48 lbs). Adjustable saddle; vertically and forward/backwards. Adjustable handlebar with quick release lever. Stable frame, solid steel tube.
