ProStep 6000 StairClimber
The ProSTEP 6000 provides a natural low impact lower body and aerobic workout that eliminates most of the jarring impact on the feet, knees and hips. The ProSTEP 6000 is simple to use and requires little or no instructions.
A user friendly control panel prompts you through every function. The overall design of the ProSTEP 6000 allows for a compact and mobile footprint in relation to many other popular exercise equipment choices.
The ProSTEP 6000 requires a ceiling height of 8 feet. The revolving steps on the ProSTEP 6000 create a highly effective cardiovascular workout that can quickly elevate your Heart Rate. This is mainly because the user is supporting all of their body weight and has to consciously lift up their legs on every rotation. This type of a weight bearing exercise can provide a very effective workout in a relatively short period of time.
With it's mobile design, low impact nature and variable speed range the ProSTEP 6000 is a highly versatile machine that becomes a perfect choice for any Health Club, Medical, Rehab, Personal training facility or Home.
Electromagnetic Resistance System
An electromagnetic resistance system acts as a breaking mechanism to slow down the RPM and thus controls the speed of the machines, which is measured as "Steps per Minute". The weight of the user activates and powers the ProSTEP 6000 thus eliminating the need for an electrical drive motor. The power consumption of the ProSTEP 6000 is equivalent to that of a 60 watt light bulb.
Step Lock System
The "Step Lock System" feature allows the user to program his workout information while standing on the stairs without the stairs moving. Also the "Step Lock" feature uses a photo optic sensor that senses if the users has shifted to the bottom step and will automatically stop and ask if you wish to proceed. The "Step Lock" feature can also be manually overridden at any time by the user.
Computer Control System
A user friendly control panel allows the user to select a workout target to either: total exercise time, floors climbed or calories burned. At anytime during the workout the user can manually override the machine. The console will also display time, floors climbed and steps per minute. |
